Kathlyn Curtis is a fifth-generation Houstonian who loves selling Houston. Kathlyn is a licensed Realtor with the international brokerage Keller Williams Realty and prides herself on providing individualized personal service to her clients as they buy, sell, and invest in residential real estate in the heart of Houston.

Kathlyn is dedicated to helping her real estate clients achieve their personal, family, and business goals. Before pursuing a career as a Realtor in Houston, Kathlyn practiced law as a tax attorney for nearly a decade. It may seem like a far leap from practicing law to selling real estate, but Kathlyn soon discovered that putting together a residential real estate transaction that works for all the parties involved is not altogether different from balancing the varying and complex interests that demand attention in a tax transaction or dispute. After all, a Texas real estate license is essentially a license to practice real estate law in a defined space – wouldn’t you want an experienced lawyer at the helm of your real estate transaction?

People are Kathlyn’s greatest passion, and she loves learning about different cultures, religions, languages, customs, and cuisine. Since she was a child, Kathlyn has traveled extensively across the globe, but always returns home to Houston. Kathlyn believes that Houston is one of the best places to learn about how the rest of the world lives, whether you can travel or not. The diversity of the Bayou City defines our city, and Houston’s horizons are about as expansive as they get. This is just one of the many reasons Kathlyn LOVES Houston!

As Houston continues to grow, Kathlyn believes Houstonians will benefit from the rich expansion of our culture and community, along with our economy and housing market. As new housing developments pop up and as the most convenient areas in the City are revitalized, the richness and diversity increases in Houston’s more established neighborhoods. “More is More” truly defines all that Houston can offer: Kathlyn urges her clients to consider “What is it that you want more of - time, space, beauty, cash?” Whatever the answer to that question, those goals are more achievable in the real estate market in Houston, Texas, than any major metropolitan city in the world.

Kathlyn was born in West University, raised in Memorial, and makes her home in the Houston Heights with her husband and high-school sweetheart, Nick; their beloved son, Jean-Luc; and their loyal dog, Argos. She is especially experienced representing buyers and sellers in close-in Houston, particularly the Houston Heights, Montrose, River Oaks, Upper Kirby, West U, Bellaire, the Museum District, Rice Military, Meyerland, and Memorial/Spring Branch. She has long served the Houston community passionately as a weekly mentor with Kids Hope USA, Gala Chair for the St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in the Heights, Chair of the St. Agnes Academy Alumnae Board, Committee Head of the Association of Women Attorneys’ Judicial Reception, and as a volunteer and fundraiser for many other organizations that touch my heart - Houston A+ Challenge, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Kathlyn’s spiritual home is at Our Lady of Walsingham Catholic Church in the Anglican Ordinariate. Kathlyn and Nick love the great outdoors and loves Houston's efforts to expand and improve the parks and trails systems around the city!
